In August, Make a Difference WA gave their support to young Hugo, 6 years of age from Geraldton who lives with severe verbal dyspraxia, a motor speech disorder that makes it difficult to co-ordinate speech. The foundation was pleased to give our support to Hugo by providing an iPad and a special communication program that will allow him to communicate with his family and his classmates. Hugo is a delightful little boy who has so much potential but has been significantly restricted by the lack of verbal communication. We hope that through the support from the many friends and supporters of the foundation this speech communication program will give Hugo a much-improved quality of life.
